Meet to the Collective
Different works. One shared commitment to help people become more fully themselves.
The Legacy Collective expands the Ecosystem beyond the work created in-house, connecting you with new opportunities for empowerment. These are the Legacies of creatives, entrepreneurs, and passionate wanderers who have committed themselves to purpose-driven missions that can fuel your journey of Self Discovery. From new schools of thought and greater representation to practical tools and resources for your development, each member offers another doorway into understanding yourself and stepping more fully into who you are becoming.
This ever-expanding collection of Greats in the Making creates more opportunities for inspiration, collaboration, experience, and practice—helping you explore how you want to show up for yourself and the world around you. The Collective is where individual missions become part of a shared Legacy: one built through mutual empowerment and the belief that our work can help others come home to themselves.
Arifa’s Taste
Arifa always showed her love through her cooking. It’s how she cared for her family, kept them connected to Bangladesh, and made a new country feel a little more like home. Taz grew up watching her mother turn homegrown ingredients, Bengali recipes, and long days in the kitchen into the kind of meals that made people feel remembered, welcomed, and cared for.
After 40 years of raising her children in a new world, Arifa built something with her own name on it. With the support of Taz and her daughters, a dream she had carried for decades became Arifa’s Taste—a growing catering business through which she can share her culture, nourish families across the DMV, and allow more people to experience the love carried within Bengali food.
The story of Arifa’s Taste is proof that Becoming is a life-long journey. Her work invites us to reconnect with our roots, recognize the gifts hidden inside what we have always done for others, and believe that a life shaped by sacrifice can still make room for a dream. Every meal carries more than flavor; it carries a mother’s love, an immigrant family’s history, and a Legacy finally being given the space to grow.
TheAwayGames_Podcast
with Ron Corley, II
Hosted by Ron Corley, TheAwayGames_Podcast explores what it means to navigate workplaces and social environments whose rules were not designed with everyone in mind. Through candid conversations about identity, culture, leadership, power, and professional life, the podcast gives language to experiences that many people—particularly Black and Brown professionals—have felt but struggled to name.
TheAwayGames_Podcast reminds us that understanding ourselves also requires understanding the systems we move through. Its conversations help listeners separate personal inadequacy from structural difficulty, recognize the value of their lived experiences, and navigate unfamiliar spaces without abandoning who they are. The podcast turns reflection into awareness—and awareness into a more empowered way of moving through the world.
Moana Sangeo
Moana Sangeo is a TEDx speaker, Human Design practitioner, and the founder of Retention Reset, where she helps HR and People leaders strengthen workforce retention by giving frontline managers practical tools for navigating the human moments that often precede an employee’s exit. Throughout her career, Moana repeatedly witnessed the same pattern: people rarely leave because of one dramatic event. They leave after small moments of tension, unclear expectations, and unmet needs accumulate without being recognized or addressed.
Within the Legacy Collective, Moana connects personal self-understanding with the environments in which people are expected to perform. Through Human Design, she helps individuals understand their natural energy, boundaries, and decision-making patterns. Through Retention Reset, she helps leaders create cultures where those differences can be recognized and supported. Her work reminds us that becoming more fully ourselves is not only an individual responsibility—we also need relationships, leaders, and environments that know how to make room for who we are.
Bee Terrific Media
Founded by writer Terrio Jenkins, Bee Terrific Media is an independent media company creating comics, novels, and imaginative worlds that center diverse characters and creators. Its stories give Black and Brown audiences opportunities to encounter heroes, adventures, and magical realities in which they can recognize themselves.
Bee Terrific Media demonstrates how stories can be powerful tools for Self Discovery. They act as mirrors that affirm our experiences, windows that introduce us to lives beyond our own, and invitations to imagine who we might become. Through representation and creative expression, Bee Terrific helps more people see that they deserve a place within the stories shaping our culture.
Designing Your Interior
with Kat Herrick
Kat Herrick is an interior designer and the founder of Designing Your Interior, a practice that helps people create environments rooted in their personalities, needs, and lived experiences. Her work recognizes that the spaces surrounding us can influence how safe, expressive, energized, and connected we feel.
Kat helps people understand what makes a space feel like their own. She demonstrates that Becoming is not only an internal process. It’s reflected in the environments we intentionally create around ourselves.
